1890 celebrated bridal corset

For my Advance skills unit this year we made an 1890s celebrated bridal corset each to our measurements. For mine, I wanted to keep the white bridal feel, even though I was allowed to use whichever colour i wanted for the corset, flossing and decoration. I used a cotton brocade with gold flossing, lace and gold ribbon. The entire corset is drafted by me from Mandie Barrington's book Stays and corsets historical patterns translated for the modern body and then cut out and constructed by me.
